Meet the Executive and Operational Teams at King’s College…
Mr Greg Eddy [BA, DipEd, MEd (NE), MACE, FAICD, FAIM] was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ÂÌñÂÛ̳ within The University of Queensland in October 2004 and commenced in January 2005.
Before that he was Principal and CEO of Dunmore Lang College within Macquarie University from 1999. During his time at Dunmore Lang, the College developed a Master Plan and completed construction of new buildings at a cost of almost $6 million.
From 1995-1999, Greg was Master at Earle Page College at The University of New England and from 1991-1995 he was Dean of Students and Deputy Master at St Albert’s College.
He served on the Executive of AHAUCHI as its Secretary in 1999-2000 and in September 2005 he was elected President of AHAUCHI (Association of Heads of Australian University Colleges and Halls Inc.) for a two year term. Greg is a Member of the Australian College of Educators (MACE) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).
Greg is married to Thérèse and they have three sons James, Nicholas and Luke.
Meet Amanda, a performance-oriented senior leader with a unique approach to delivering strategic and operational outcomes. She leads the team responsible for cultivating and enhancing the College’s international and domestic reputation, brand recognition, events and engagement opportunities within the College, The University of Queensland, and broader communities.
With her extensive experience in education advancement and proven leadership abilities, she optimises and integrates marketing, communications, community relations, fundraising, and admissions. Her expertise lies in developing successful philanthropic programs and increasing high-level stakeholder relationships. Her role is pivotal to the work of the Foundation and the College’s future planning.
Mr Andrew Eunson is responsible for all activities associated with students as well as overseeing the College Admissions Office and Student Leadership Team. Andrew joined the team at King’s in 2023.
Prior to King’s, Andrew was the Head of College Operations at St Andrew’s Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast and before that was Head of People and Organisational Engagement at St Andrew’s. Andrew spent eight years at Toowoomba Grammar School as a Boarding Housemaster and Teacher of Music and Drama before moving to St Andrew’s as Director of Co-Curricular Music in 2012.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music, Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching, MBA and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
In addition to relevant post graduate education and tertiary knowledge, Andrew has continued a schedule of professional learning though his career, modelling the values of being a lifelong learner.
Andrew and his wife Chelsey live on site with their two young children Brady and Delilah.
Melanie, a Chartered Accountant, joined ÂÌñÂÛ̳ in June 2024 and is an accomplished strategic partner with a strong history as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with extensive experience in executive teams focusing on strategic, financial, customer and operational goals. Prior to joining ÂÌñÂÛ̳, Melanie gained experience in small-medium sized ASX-listed companies covering the end-to-end finance function, statutory reporting, procurement, IT, HR, administration, and merger & acquisitions (M&A) across a number of industries. Melanie has been on both the buy and sell side of acquisitions, aligning processes and implementing improvements, in addition to the day-to-day responsibilities and strategic planning and reporting challenges.
Luke was previously on staff at The Riverina Anglican College in Wagga where he has held various positions over the last 12 years including Guidance Counsellor, Careers Advisor, Head of Year and Coach of everything from hockey to rugby. His degrees are B.Sc. and B. Ed along with a Master’s degree in Education (Educational Leadership). He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development from RMIT. He is also a Sessional Academic at CSU.
